A veteran journalist with two decades experience covering economics and business news Bartiromo played a key role in establishing CNBC as one of the top on the market in its economic and business segment. Her incredibly successful career as a journalist makes one believe that the woman was meant to be in this particular field. Maria was confused as a child about what career to pursue. One day she thought that she would become an interior designer. When she found out about the thrills and excitement journalistic work, she had no stopping her. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn was born in America and is an actress who has been working professionally for over 27 years. At the age of 27 she has been an active professional thespian. Her acting debut was on stage in an off-Broadway production called The Big Funk by John Patrick Shanley in 1990. In The Perfect Tribute, she was given her first TV appearance a year later. In 1992, she played as a support role in the movie Basic Instinct Her career began to take off. In the film The Firm however that she got the role of leading female character for the very first time. She was cast in the film alongside famous actors such as Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. She worked in the 90s alongside some of the top actors in Hollywood, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Hugh Grant. In the internationally acclaimed crime procedural Crime Minds, the character of Dr. Alex Blake was recently as played by her.
